We understand the cost of a water replacement isn’t calculated in to everyone’s budget, which is why we also offer water service repair work. If the line is shallow, we can normally hand dig to the problem. If the water line happens to be over 3.5′ deep at the break, a backhoe is used.
Repairs can sometimes be done, if the line for instance has sheared off at the foundation. Generally speaking however; we try to always replace the entire line (even newer pipe can become brittle underground, causing it to break again after a repair has been made).
